The Genealogical Society of Hispanic America-Southern California (GSHA-SC) was
founded to promote Hispanic genealogical and historical research with a focus on, but
not limited to Colorado and New Mexico, as well as Mexico, Arizona, California, and Texas,
thereby expanding awareness and knowledge of individual culture, history, and traditions. We encourage the sharing of information through our general meetings, lectures, workshops, Chapter newsletter, national journals, and newsletter.
You are invited to join us with more than 190 members, GSHA-SC was
founded in 1992 to assist anyone searching for their Hispanic roots. Affiliated with the national GSHA based in Pueblo, Colorado, we are part of a combined membership of over 500. Whether you have just begun to explore your family lines, or you are an experienced researcher, please join us. We have members who are eager to help you begin your ancestral search, and as a group, we benefit from the knowledge that the veteran researcher has to offer. We are proud to represent a membership that is both willing and able to assist you in discovering a remarkably rich and colorful Hispanic heritage…a heritage in which you can be justly proud.
